LAKEVIEW COTTAGES is on the south shore at the west end of Huntington Lake. Huntington Lake is located about 60 miles east of Fresno and the elevation is about 7000 feet in the High Sierras.
Our season runs from Memorial Day weekend to mid-September, weather permitting. Temperatures at our peaceful setting in the summer usually range in the 70's in the daytime with cooler nights.

CABINSOur cabins are less than 100 yards from the lakeshore. We take pride in our resort of 12 cabins and maintain their cleanliness and the peacefulness which our guests seek. Available for rent are one and two bedroom cabins.There is a double bed in each bedroom. WiFi is free. The kitchens have full sized refrigerators and a gas cooking top with three burners (but no oven). Dishes, silverware, cooking utensils, are provided. Barbecues for charcoal cooking are available for your use. Check "Packing for Lakeview" for a complete list. | BOATS AND DOCKSWe rent row boats, aluminum boats with motors and canoes. Guests with their own boats are welcome to bring their boats and use our dock on a space available basis. The clear cool mountain lake provides a perfect setting for the novice and experienced angler. Both trolling and shoreline fishing are popular. If you are new to trout fishing, your host can probably help. |

Huntington Lake offers water related activities of fishing, swimming, water skiing, sailing and kayaking.
Many hiking, mountain bike trails and Geocaches are around the lake, and among nearby mountains that provide spectacular scenery and activities for the enjoyment of our guests.
A stable at the lake offers horseback rides for full and half day trips.
